findmyapps.net respects your privacy. This page explains your right, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar laws, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, and how to exercise it on this site.
We do not sell your data for money
findmyapps.net does not sell your personal information in exchange for money. We are an informational directory: we show real App Store and Google Play data side by side and link out to the official stores. We do not run a marketplace in your personal data.
What "sharing" means here
Under the CCPA, allowing certain advertising cookies can count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, even when no money changes hands. On this site, that applies to the Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag, which helps us measure advertising on the Microsoft Advertising network (including Bing).
How to opt out
Advertising cookies are turned off by default on findmyapps.net: the Microsoft UET tag loads with advertising storage set to "denied" and only stores advertising cookies if you accept cookies in our consent banner. To opt out, simply decline cookies in the banner, or — if you previously accepted — clear this site's cookies in your browser, which resets your choice to denied.
You can also enable a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in a supported browser or extension. When your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for advertising.
Other privacy rights
You also have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request a copy of it, and to ask us to delete it. To make any of these requests, contact us at hello@findmyapps.net or by phone at +1 (555) 018-4737. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
